We’re planning a truly special Taichi retreat that follows the art back to its ancient roots in China. Our journey begins with two delightful days in Beijing, staying at the charming Purple Jade Villa — a peaceful oasis where deer, peacocks, swans, and doves wander freely, all hidden inside a massive 32‑million‑person city. Then we travel to the legendary Wudang Mountain for five immersive days of Taichi practice, Taoist wellness traditions, ancient medicine, and thousand‑year‑old philosophy inside temples that feel timeless and magical. To finish the adventure, we fly south to Shenzhen, China’s vibrant “Silicon Valley” beside Hong Kong, where futuristic skyscrapers, robotics labs, and drone innovation show how quickly the city has risen as a global tech powerhouse. After this beautiful blend of tradition and modern wonder, we return to Canada with unforgettable memories and refreshed spirits.
